After a frantic two-week search, police found the teenage son of ex-NFL player Daniel Muir safe and sound. Officers discovered Bryson Muir at his parents' home in Logansport on July 3rd, weeks after he vanished on Father's Day following some serious domestic violence allegations.

Indiana State Police announced that Bryson "appeared safe and well" when found. The police promptly arrested both his mother and father. They charged Daniel, 40, with obstruction and domestic battery, while his wife Kristin, 38, faces obstruction charges as well.

Things took a turn when the parents initially seemed cooperative but then failed to bring Bryson to speak with the police on June 28. Officers saw through this action and concluded that the Muirs were no longer going to be helpful.

While Bryson was missing, the police issued an Indiana Silver Alert, stating that the boy might be in serious danger and in need of medical attention. They widely circulated Bryson's image, including a photo where his eye appeared injured.

Daniel, a former NFL defensive player, and his wife Kristin are now in custody. It is unknown if they have obtained legal representation and Bryson has been placed in the care of the Cass County Department of Child Services.

The case has garnered attention due to Daniel Muir's former NFL status and the concerning circumstances surrounding Bryson's disappearance. The police are continuing their investigation, attempting to determine what transpired during those two weeks.
