HelloFresh is bringing Rachel Green's infamous Thanksgiving trifle disaster from "Friends" to kitchens nationwide, offering home cooks a chance to recreate the beloved sitcom moment while celebrating its 30th anniversary.

The meal kit company has unveiled a limited-edition kit that reimagines the memorable culinary mishap from Season 6, Episode 9, "The One Where Ross Got High," where Rachel accidentally combines an English trifle with shepherd's pie. Unlike the original mishap that prompted Ross Geller to declare it "tastes like feet," HelloFresh's version ensures a more palatable experience.

"'Friends' is an iconic show, and the Thanksgiving episodes are especially memorable, so recreating Rachel's English trifle-meets-shepherd's pie mashup was an exciting culinary challenge for us," said Michelle Doll Olson, senior culinary development manager at HelloFresh U.S.

The special kit, developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, includes a custom trifle dish with a central divider that separates the sweet and savory components. Customers receive ingredients and step-by-step recipe cards for both a traditional beef shepherd's pie and an English trifle, allowing them to choose whether to enjoy the dishes separately or embrace Joey Tribbiani's enthusiasm for the accidental combination.

Each kit comes with a "Friends"-themed apron and serves six people. The custom dish design pays homage to Joey's memorable defense of Rachel's creation: "What's not to like? Custard, good. Jam, good. Meat, good!"

"At HelloFresh, we know our customers like to have fun in the kitchen and are big fans of the beloved sitcom 'Friends,'" said Kirsten Walpert, vice president of brand and creative for HelloFresh U.S. "That's why we're excited to bring this memorable dish to life, which will help 'Friends' fans enjoy a unique and delicious cooking experience while celebrating with loved ones this holiday season."

The Rachel Green trifle kits will be available for purchase starting Monday, Nov. 4, at 9 a.m. through HelloFreshFriendsTrifle.com, priced at $34.99 with free shipping. A limited number of kits will be released daily through Nov. 7, with orders accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Customers who secure a kit can expect delivery during the week of Nov. 11, though the trifle dish will ship separately from the meal components. The daily release of kits begins at 9 a.m., giving fans multiple opportunities to purchase this nostalgic cooking experience.
