"Fiancé has such a close friend group that he has to do a quiz to pick a best man," Demi captioned the video posted on June 9th. In just over a week, it amassed nearly 150,000 views and 11,000 likes from impressed viewers. "Such a fun idea and the best way to get everyone together," she added.
The groom quizzed his friends on various personal details and life experiences he has shared with them over the years. Questions ranged from simple preferences like how many sugars he takes in tea to more obscure facts about his childhood.
After compiling the results, the groom revealed there was just a one-point spread separating the top three scorers. His friend Ty narrowly clinched the best man title. Demi playfully noted her fiancé was "dragging it out for dramatic effect. Mr. 'Crowd Pleaser.'"
The unorthodox selection method garnered praise from viewers. Many commended the groom for allowing genuine knowledge to determine the honored role rather than showing favoritism. "This is such a good idea," one commenter wrote. "What a lovely way than trying to choose one and make others think they're favorite."
Others admired the tight-knit nature of the friend group, which enabled such a friendly competition in the first place. "He must have an amazing soul; the best man is also beautiful," remarked one viewer.
