A vegan influencer from Brazil found out her man was playing away after spotting a pepperoni pizza in his food app.
Sabrina Lourenço, aka Sabrina Low, who has 90K followers on Instagram, was ordering food on her boyfriend's phone when she saw he'd gotten a meaty pizza.
"It was like being punched in the gut," Low told Jam Press about the shocking discovery. As a vegan couple who shared the belief in avoiding animal products, a meat-topped pizza raised immediate red flags.
"We always talked about the importance of being vegan, and that was a big part of our values. I fell in love with him for that exact reason," the influencer explained. Seeing the pepperoni purchase felt like "being punched," she said in an interview with the New York Post.
Low confronted her boyfriend about the non-vegan order. Initially, he denied any wrongdoing but eventually admitted to cheating. "It was then that I realized our relationship was destroyed and, in that moment, the app was my ally to end this lie," Low stated.
The scorned influencer did not disclose whether she ultimately ended the relationship over the apparent infidelity. However, she expressed feeling "betrayed" since her partner would "never eat meat."
