South Carolina woman's life cut short in microwave fire incident
A heartbreaking accident involving a microwave oven took the life of a 67-year-old Sumter County resident Thursday evening. In a release by the Sumter County Sherriff’s Office Officials say the fatal blaze erupted after a disastrous mistake involving the home’s microwave. Firefighters raced to the house on Kolb Road around 8:37 pm upon receiving frantic calls about thick smoke pouring from the home and someone outside yelling for assistance.
