A former stripper has shared her experience about men at bachelor parties also known as stag parties, shedding light on behavior that may potentially concern some. Hayley Davies, 25, originally from Australia, told the New York Post that a significant majority of men exhibit unfaithful behavior during these events.
"I worked in a strip club that frequently hosted bucks [stag] parties, and I would say that majority of the grooms and their friends would at the very least try and make out with you," Davies told the Post.
Davies talked about a routine with foam that needed people in the audience to be washed off. She said that about 80% of the guys would try to make romantic advances during this time.
Davies doesn't mind when guys go to strip clubs, but she made it clear that it shouldn't be an excuse for cheating. She said that different guys seem to have different ideas about strippers.
"I believe that men who cheat on their partners don't see strippers as real people." For them, it's just a dream, so it doesn't matter. Davies said, "You can tell by the way they talk about you."
According to larger data, a lot of people cheat on their partners at bachelor and bachelorette parties, which fits with what the former stripper said.
Davies said that she doesn't like it when people cheat, especially when they are about to get married, but she didn't think it was her job to tell her clients what to do. "The bucks will cheat if they want to." I don't like it, but I'm going to take their money anyway. At the end of the day, she said, "it's their fault."
Her statements highlight a troubling aspect of stag parties that may be overlooked by many. For those in relationships, these revelations might prompt closer consideration of how such events are approached and perceived.
